Finally, we have reached the end of the year! Having just arrived home from nationals, I am glad to say that we’re not in Kansas anymore. Nationals was an amazing expirience for the team and for our own 5th place LD debater…John “Wildcat” Helsel! We are all so very proud of him and all the hard work that he put into not only this tournament, but this year in general. Wildcat isn’t the only one who deserves congrats…good job to everyone who made it to nationals, you all did an amazing job. and remember, we need one more qualifier next year, since we’re all looking forward to seeing Mario as a blonde. Since it is the end of the year, I would write one of those sappy “I’m so glad I could be your president” things, but that’s not my style, at least not right now.
