This weekend we will be attending The Barkley Forum. The tournament is quite different from other Georgia tournaments, so I want to make sure details are known. Student attending include: Stephanie Styles, Tyler Olson, Emily Atkinson, Scott Bremer, Matt Ward, Taylor Walker, Hannah Snowden, Hannah Mitchell, James Holland, John Holland, Michael Barlow, Erin Dabbs, Kaylin Morton, JP Patterson, Grayson Blake, Lucas Bailey and Mike Robinson. This is a TWO DAY tournament (at miminum), meaning students will need to get to the tournament on Friday. WE WILL NEED PARENTS FOR DROP-OFF AND PICK UP!! Here is a break-down of event locations: Policy Debate will be held at Georgia State. Public Forum will be held at Druid Hills HS. All IE’s, Duo, Congress and LD will be on the Emory University Campus. Here are directions to the BF, Georgia State parking instructions and the parking letter and pass for Emory University. January PF Topic:

Resolved: That by 2040, the federal government should mandate that all passenger vehicles and light trucks sold in the United States be powered by alternative fuels.

January/February LD Topic:

Resolved: The United States ought to submit to jurisdiction of an international court designed to prosecute crimes against humanity.
